Synopsis

This book is the re-titled version of "Art at the Heart," and aims to help core content teachers integrate art into their content to help with a deeper understanding on multiple sensory levels. I encourage you to seek out your certified art teachers for advice and guidance. This book, however, was designed with the non-art teacher in mind, but may also be helpful to those who home school, have an integrated curriculum, or the art teacher seeking to more overtly include core content projects into their lessons while still meeting the demands of their own curriculum. Research shows that students who take art succeed at higher rates than those who do not. In the U.S., art students score, on average, 100 points higher on their SATs.
