About the Authors

Alex Raffi has been a professional cartoonist and illustrator since 1998. His work has been recognized with the Best Illustration award from the Nevada Press Association in 1998, 1999, and 2000, and most recently the Best Editorial Cartoon All State Papers award. Currently, he is a partner and creative director of Imagine Communications in Henderson, Nevada.

Richard L. "Arf" Epstein has written books on logic, critical thinking, and philosophy. With Alex Raffi he has written the high-school/collegetextbooks Critical Thinking and How to Reason, and the scholarly book Conventional Gestures: Meaning and Methodology.
