About the Authors

Jaime Vendera is a world-renowned vocal coach, author, and the first documented singer to shatter glass using only his unaided voice, an achievement featured on MythBusters. For nearly three decades, he has helped singers develop greater range, strength, stamina, control, and confidence. His clients have included members of Dream Theater, Papa Roach, I Prevail, Starset, Mudvayne, and Fozzy. Jaime is the author of dozens of books on vocal technique, breathing, vocal health, performance, creativity, and songwriting.

Anne Loader McGee was an award-winning children's author whose stories and articles appeared in The Los Angeles Times and numerous publications for children and adults. A graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature, she studied writing at the American Film Institute and UCLA and was a longtime member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Her books received recognition from the International Peace Awards, Moonbeam Children's Book Awards, Purple Dragonfly Book Awards, and Bloom Awards. Anne also edited and co-wrote Strengthening Your Singing Voice and co-authored the four-book Sing Out Loud vocal instruction series for children and teens with Jaime Vendera.
