About the Authors

Amanda L. Smith, LCSW, is the founder of Hope for BPD where she provides treatment consultation and case management for clients around the world. She also publishes My Dialectical Life, a daily email dedicated to DBT skills for those with Borderline Personality Disorder. She is the author of The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Wellness Planner: 365 Days of Healthy Living for Your Body, Mind, and Spirit, for people recovering from BPD. Perry D. Hoffman, PhD is president and cofounder of the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEA-BPD). Hoffman has several grants from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) with a focus on families.
