Synopsis
Marscorp wants to preserve its lucrative control of the trade between worlds. The rebel group The Phoenix wants to break that stranglehold either by developing psychic powers or adapting humans so that they survive Martian conditions. About the Author
Charles L. Fontenay (March 17, 1917 - January 27, 2007) was a newspaperman and science fiction writer. He served as editor of the Nashville Tennessean and worked for the Associated Press and Gannett News Service. In addition to science fiction, he wrote a biography of Estes Kefauver. His science fiction novels include Twice Upon a Time, Rebels of the Red Planet, and The Day the Oceans Overflowed.
