About the Author

Charles L. Fontenay (March 17, 1917 - January 27, 2007) was a newspaperman and science fiction writer. He served as editor of the Nashville Tennessean and worked for the Associated Press and Gannett News Service. In addition to science fiction, he wrote a biography of Estes Kefauver. His science fiction novels include Twice Upon a Time, Rebels of the Red Planet, and The Day the Oceans Overflowed.
