The Cryonics Guidebook (= 122 pages) provides a valuable resource for social workers, doulas, caregivers, and others involved in end-of-life care and end-of-life-cycle care. The necessity of this guidebook arises from a growing recognition that cryonics is not merely a futuristic concept but a present reality. The guidebook provides an overview of cryonics, including scientific principles, ethical and legal issues, and alternative definitions of death. Techniques of support, advocacy, and counseling, and strategies of preparation, planning, and communication, are provided. Future advancements in cryonics and their implications are examined. For those who are young and healthy, cryonics can be incorporated into a pro healthspan extension lifestyle. The concept of "turnkey cryonics" emphasizes the importance of individualizing cryonics to each unique client and circumstance.
