About the Author

Christine Elliott Rivers is a pastor’s kid. She grew up with amazing parents who read her and her siblings Bible stories every night for her entire childhood. Her favorite childhood memory was reading The Chronicles of Narnia with her parents and siblings.

Christine is now a teacher at a classical Lutheran school where she teaches 4th grade as well as dual credit English courses for high school students. For years, she hoped and prayed that someone would write books for her students, and last year, a dear friend suggested that perhaps she should write them herself. Now, she is writing a series of ten fairy tales!

When she is not reading, writing, or teaching, Christine is drinking ridiculous amounts of coffee, antiquing, or off on quests and adventures with her wonderful husband Matt, their three children, and their dog, Remy.
