About the Author

Michelle Mink has always had a curious nature and enjoys pushing the envelope. After earning her master's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, she spent the early part of her career pursuing opportunities during an explosive, transformative time in the telecommunications industry. The period saw a further unraveling of the Ma Bell monopoly, the dot-com boom and the subsequent bust. This gave Michelle opportunities to learn how Fortune 500 companies operate and experience the trial-by-fire world of startups, including taking a company public (via IPO). After more than two decades of joining, founding and consulting with entrepreneurial ventures, Michelle pinpointed basic startup practices that have caused significant problems for young businesses. Her passion for helping entrepreneurs succeed inspired Michelle to write "Beyond Startup Week: What First-Time Entrepreneurs Don't Know to Ask." She continues to support entrepreneurs on their journeys through Navabiz Solutions.
