About the Author

Shay Pendray is an award winning teacher, lecturer, designer, television host and author. She owns a retail needlework shop and a production company. Shay brings her vast knowledge and experience to PBS Television as host and executive producer of her latest PBS series, Needle Arts Studio, which is broadcast nationwide. Shay has studied Japanese embroidery for more than 18 years and has been the driving force in bringing Japanese embroidery to the US.
