About the Author

Joy Surles is the editor for Art and Ink Publications, a tattoo magazine syndicate publishing Skin Art, Tattoo Revue, Tattoos For Men, Tattoos For Women, and Tabu. With a M.A. in English and a tattoo-artist husband, Joy is the ideal person to author this book. Before making the switch to journalism, Joy taught college writing at Long Island University and Stern College for Women. A poet as well as a writer and editor, Joy’s poems have appeared in Lungfull and Si Senor.
