About the Author Steve Rother was comfortably settled into life as a general building contractor in the San Diego area when, through a synchronistic series of events, he was placed firmly in the middle of his contract. Steve and his wife, Barbara, began shifting their focus on life and living on New Year s morning, 1995, when they found themselves unexpectedly expressing their intent for the coming year during a ceremony that took place as the sun rose over a California beach. From that day forward, their lives were never to be the same. Soon after, Steve began receiving divinely inspired messages from the Group, which he published monthly as the Beacons of Light. These monthly writings from the Group are about re-membering and accepting our own power, and living comfortably in the higher vibrations now on planet Earth. The Group calls Steve the Keeper of the Flame or just Keeper for short. Steve never returned to his contracting business. Today, he and Barbara, his wife of 30+ years present empowerment seminars to Lightworkers throughout the globe. They have presented these in many countries, and are five time presenters at the United Nations on two continents. In April of 2000 at the UN in Vienna, Austria, Steve and Barbara presented a class on channeling, believed to be the first such class ever presented at a U.N. facility. Steve and Barbara make their base in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they work together in Love and Lightwork. They have formed the nonprofit corporation of Lightworker and, together with the volunteers and staff, plant seeds of Light through personal empowerment on a global basis.
