I wrote this book to assist my healing and to answer the question I was asked most often "Why did you stay for so long?" I hope to create awareness of abusive relationships by telling my story of how it began, why I stayed for as long as I did and what I had to do to start the healing process. About the Author

I have survived a lived experience of Domestic Violence and have written my story as part of my healing process. I want to create awareness of the complexities of DV, empower those still living in hell as well as those who have gotten out, to show you that there is life after DV. I intend on finishing a 2nd book which relates to spirituality practice and healing. I want to create a presentation to take into High Schools to learn the early signs of DV, respectful relationships and how to help someone you know who is experiencing DV. I want to become a highly regarded Inspirational Speaker who makes a difference to someone who needs it.
