About the Author

Sayed Muhammad-Mahdi al-Modarresi is an Iraqi-Australian Shia Muslim Theologian. He studied in the Islamic Seminaries in Damascus, Syria, and Qom, Iran. He also pursued academic studies in sociology, politics, and philosophy.Sayed Mahdi is widely known within the Shia community for his lectures in English, Arabic, and Farsi. He has authored books in several languages and regularly writes essays on a range of religious and contemporary topics.
