Synopsis

The body of a priest is briefly sighted on the rocks below the Cape Byron Lighthouse. Who was it, and how did he get there? The ensuing investigation travels from the beautiful beaches of Northern NSW to a peaceful parish church in Brisbane to the home of a retired gangland boss on the Gold Coast.

In search of answers, Investigator Jim Nicholas works with journalist Dan Shaw and talk-back announcer Adam Christopher to discover the many secrets of the missing priest.

'A Colour of Blue' delves into the Catholic Church's approach to abuse and one woman's courage in confronting it. Along the way, we get an insider's perspective on the worlds of professional gambling and modern media. Written in real-time, it is also a contemporary analysis of the news of the last six months of 2024.

The book is a wonderful follow-up to Greg's previous novel, 'A Fascinating Investigation (into the murder of shock jock Big Ed Bradley)'.
