Synopsis

Chris Fagan is no ordinary coach. He is the oldest Australian Rules Football (AFL) winning coach in history; a leader who transformed the struggling Brisbane Lions into champions two years in a row.
From the grounds of Tasmania, Australia to the AFL’s biggest stage for two premierships, can he make history with a ‘three-peat’? Fagan’s journey is one of resilience, belief and unwavering passion for the game.
Fagan’s Way: Run To The Fire examines the master coach’s approach to taking his players to the top, revealing his unique approach to sport and life: believe in yourself, trust in your team, endure the losses and celebrate the wins.
Drawing on insights from players, family, mentors, colleagues and even rivals, the book uncovers the man behind the familiar match-day figure and shows how his leadership, humanity and strategic thinking reshaped a club and inspired a generation of athletes with a future still unfolding.
