About the Author

George W. M. Harrison is Professor in Greek and Roman Studies at Carleton University, Canada. He is the editor and author of books and articles on Seneca's plays, satyr drama, and drama and rite in Plutarch. He specializes in putting ancient plays on the modern stage and is particularly interested in the reception of satyr drama during the Roman Empire.
