About the Author

Prior to retirement, Reg Hall was a consultant Urological Surgeon in Newcastle upon Tyne. In addition to his work in the NHS for more than 30 years, he worked with the Medical Research Council and the European Organisation for Research in the Treatment of Cancer in the development of international cancer clinical trials. Following retirement, he initiated and co-founded Cancer Connections, a cancer support charity in the North East of England.
