It is written in diary form from notes made at the time. The book also covers the first few years of use after the restoration. Bernard Littlewood was born in 1959. After owning a Triumph Tiger 500cc he moved on to a T140V 750cc Bonneville (motorcycles) and a Triumph Spitfire. Many Spitfires and Heralds have adorned his drive way and garages over the years culminating in the current Herald 13/60 Convertible, Standard Vanguard phase 3 Vignale and a Triumph TR4A.
