About the Authors

James Fenimore Cooper (15 September 1789-14 September 1851) was an American writer who wrote historical romances depicting colonist and indigenous characters from the 17th-19th centuries.

Louis Zansky was born on 6th December, 1920. In the early 1940s he illustrated several comics for Gilberton's Classics Illustrated series, and he went on to work on a number of other comic and magazine projects.
