Tim de Lisle wrote for Smash Hits and The Observer while reading classics at Oxford and went on to be the rock critic of The Daily Telegraph, arts editor of The Times and The Independent on Sunday and a feature writer for The Guardian. He edited Wisden Cricketers Almanack 2003, the first edition with a photo on the cover, and won Editor of the Year awards with Wisden Cricket Monthly and Intelligent Life. Now the rock critic of The Mail on Sunday, a cricket writer for The Guardian, a consultant with Innovation Media and a writing coach, he lives in London with his wife, a history teacher, and their two children, both students.
