Synopsis
Veritas Justice is a Community Interest Company based in Brighton, UK, which combines professional expertise with personal experience to inform training, research, reform and support. Their extensive knowledge of domestic abuse, child protection and stalking issues inform their educational, legal and therapeutic expertise, which qualify them to offer a comprehensive and unique service to their clients. One such service that Veritas offer is a weekly facilitated creative writing group called Writing for Recovery, funded by Lottery grants, allowing both survivors of stalking and professionals alike to explore their experiences through the medium of writing. 'Talking Stalking: Writing for Recovery' is an anthology of creative writing written by course attendees drawing on these experiences. The work also includes pieces from key figures in the local community, professional advice on family law, cyberstalking and cyber safety, pertinent statistics, and contributor-submitted photographs.
