Synopsis
Grammar Springboards is a series designed to help teachers teach grammar with confidence and make vocabulary, grammar and punctuation in stimulating and fun learning experience for all learners. It will improve children's competence in spelling and punctuation and develop their skills in sentence construction. The activities in the books are differentiated, to enable learners of all abilities to practise and achieve at their own level. Grammar Springboards comprises of three books with CDs covering: Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs, Sentences and Punctuation. The book contains detailed lesson plans for each grammar subject and three-level differentiated activities to consolidate objectives, as well as periodic and transitional assessment tests to track progress. It is matched to the revised 2014 National Curriculum for English; it has lesson plans to cover each grammar subject; it includes a CD with differentiated activities at the three levels of ability; and it has periodic and transitional assessment records to track progress. The CDs include stand-alone worksheets together with lesson and teacher resources, such as flash cards, posters, word searches, templates and badges, as well as Assessment and Record charts to use during the lessons.
