About the Author

Brian Reeve was born near Johannesburg in the Republic of South Africa. He was conscripted into the Infantry for two years, then went to the University of Natal to study mechanical engineering. It was here that he first studied karate, achieving first dan black belt in just two years. He then began a career in the oil industry, living and working in nine countries. A two-year sojourn in Japan, where he studied aikido, led to him gaining first and second dan black belts in that art. He now lives in London, SW6. Brian Reeve has published three previous books with Book Guild Publishing: Zen Mind, No Mind, and the two earlier novels featuring James Steiner, A Dangerous Game and Dark Intent.
