Synopsis

The idea for this book came from a friend of ours asked for advice regarding visiting the graves of some of the poets killed during the First World War, I sent him the list I have been compiling since 2016 but Paul, my editor and publisher, suggested it might be easier if the information was in book form. This is very much an on-going project. I only began researching forgotten poets of WW1 in 2016 for an exhibition of those involved in The Somme Offensive and for this particular section of the project, I still need to go back and find those who were killed during 1914 and 1915.
