Clive Allen won the Professional Footballers Association Player of the Year and Football Writers Association Player of the Year in 1987 after a remarkable season in which he scored 49 goals for Spurs. Clive also had spells at QPR, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Bordeaux, Manchester City, Chelsea, West Ham, Millwall and Carlisle. James Olley is a journalist, biographer and opinion-former with more than a decades experience reporting on the biggest events in football for the London Evening Standard. He is a regular contributor for the BBC, Sky Sports and talkSPORT and a Sports Journalists Association Regional Journalist of the Year winner.
