About the Author

Dawn Cawley found herself alone after her beloved Alan lost his battle with cancer. Although she knew her husband's illness was terminal, nothing prepared her for the shock and pain his death caused, and the dark days that followed. Thanks to the support of family and friends, Dawn gradually emerged from her grief and slowly forged a new life for herself. She joined several clubs including a writing group and her first book, The Old Fart's Guide to Survival, was published in 2016.
