'Forever Hope' is a powerful and poignant story of a cancer patient's journey through diagnosis, treatment and recovery, and the strength to face each day guided by her faith in God. As a fellow cancer survivor and a chief executive officer of one of the nation's largest healthcare systems, I can attest to the fears, emotions, and challenges of being diagnosed with cancer that Laura Shook so eloquently captures in 'Forever Hope'. This book is a 'must read' for any cancer patient or individual supporting a loved one with cancer. - Dan Wolterman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System
