Synopsis

An updated version of ISO 9001, the world's leading quality management standard, was released in September 2015. The 2015 revisions are significant and will affect professionals at every level, whether they work in industry, certification bodies or training organisations. The principles underpinning the revision now line up with many of the business transformation principles of Dr Deming, and of the world leading organisations that adopted them decades ago. The revised standard has the potential therefore to stimulate transformation in how more than a million registered organisations are run throughout the world. This book weaves together the expertise of the joint authors in their various fields: business improvement and transformation, development and assessment of quality management systems, and continually challenging personal leadership styles. By taking the approach outlined in the book the changes can be used to stimulate transformation in organisations and their wider environments, coordinating their processes to achieve both their customer goals and reduced operating costs. Follow this blueprint and certification comes as a free bonus.
