Rebecca Weir is Creative Director and founder of Light IQ, an award winning London based practice who specialise in international lifestyle projects. Rebecca's passion for lighting and her ability to harness and maximise the creative process, to explore and push the boundaries of illumination has lead to the successful completion of over 1000 projects world-wide. Rebecca s enthusiasm and depth of knowledge is highly regarded, she regularly lectures at industry events as well at KLC School Of Design. Allyson Coates curiosity with light and why it plays a central role in our lives began when she lived with indigenous people in the Sinai and later when journeying along the Amazon in Peru. Her career spans project management and residential refurbishments to marketing and sports sponsorship including Formula One. In her ongoing interior and exterior design projects she always considers the importance light plays in conceptualising space. She also support lectures at the KLC School of Design and volunteers as front of house ambassador for the V&A Museum in London. Allyson Coates, with a career spanning from project management and marketing, to Formula One sports sponsorship, first became curious about the central role that light plays in our lives when she lived with the indigenous people in the Sinai desert in Egypt, and then later when journeying along the Peruvian Amazon. The fundamentals of light, as the precursor to the start and completion of each day, were very much the catalyst to learn more about its effects on communities around the world.
