About the Author

Attika Al-Sadi, Biography Attika Al-Sadi is an Iraqi writer living in Britain. She qualified as a physicist from Baghdad University in 1984. She first worked as a forecaster at the Met Office in Baghdad. She is a member of the Lebanon and Middle Eastern Association that serves the Arab community in Slough. She also works as a head teacher at Alkawthar Arabic School, which offers Arabic language teaching from reception to A-level. The 'Kitabi' series is her first series of books for teaching Arabic at primary school level. She has also written a Religious Education series. She loves reading and is passionate about teaching.
