About the Author

UK performance poet George Stanworth has been writing poetry since his teens, but he started developing it further when he studied English Literature at University. 'A Floristry of Palpitations' is George's third collection of poetry, following on from 'Crazy Old World' and 'Your Sax Is On Fire'. George has previously performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, and is a regular performer in pubs around London and the Home Counties. George has also been a six-times semi-finalist in the Lyrics Only section of the UK Songwriting Contest ; and has been published in numerous anthologies, including 'The Haiku Journal' and 'Sarasvati' magazine.
