Synopsis

Set in the 1970s, Mr Oliver is the manager of a London Store. He has just celebrated his fiftieth birthday and believes his position to be invulnerable. About the Author

VG Lee is an author and stand-up comedian. In 2012 Lee was nominated for a Stonewall award for writing and two years later won the Ultimate Planet Award for best established author. She has published five novels: 'The Comedienne', 'The Woman in Beige', 'Diary of a Provincial Lesbian' and 'Always you, Edina' in 2012. Her fifth novel, 'Mr Oliver's Object of Desire' was published September 2016. VG Lee's short story collection 'As You Step Outside'was published in 2007.
