About the Author

Douglas Schofield is a Canadian-trained lawyer. Over the past thirty years he has prosecuted and defended hundreds of cases of murder, rape and other serious crimes in Canada, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. Since 2006 he has held the position of Assistant Solicitor General in the Cayman Islands Government, where he focuses primarily on civil litigation. Mr Schofield's third novel, Time of Departure, will be released in early 2013.
