Synopsis
The present volume treats of the periodicals published in the Muslim world since 1800s. Periodicals published in different languages in Afghanistan, Caucasia, Central Asia, Iran, Russia and Tatarstan, the Ottoman Empire, Southeast Asia, and Turkey have been introduced. This book is part of a series of translations from the Encyclopaedia of the World of Islam (EWI) which was originally compiled in Persian.
