Harry, a boy with a passion for fishing, visits his favourite place, a crystal-clear chalk stream where kingfishers dart and minnows abound. He is there to catch a trout. Will he be lucky? His quest turns into a small adventure, involving meeting lots of animals and other wildlife on the way. About the Author
Richard ffrench-Constant has fished for trout since he was a boy and was taught to fish by his father in Cornwall. By telling the angling story of young Harry in this book, he hopes to encourage all children, including his own, to go outdoors and discover the natural world. He works as a professional entomologist at the University of Exeter. This is his second book with Brambleby Books, the first being the also beautifully illustrated picture book The Elephant and the Mountain.
