About the Author

It is Fiona's experience as a primary school teacher that Space is a favourite topic for children, and with extraordinary things to learn about like pancake domes on Venus and the Dog Bone Asteroid it's little wonder.  She hopes that teachers will find the story an enjoyable and informative accompaniment to their Space projects, and that it will further develop children's curiosity about our Solar System and beyond.  This is the second edition of The Perfect Pudding with exciting new illustrations by talented artist Nicola Brand and fun activities to try at home or school.  Fiona currently works as a teacher in Edinburgh.
