Dr Rameen Shakur is a run through London Specialist Trainee working as a cardiology fellow at the Royal Brompton Hospital, National Heart and Lung Institute London.He is a clincial teacher in medicine at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford. Dr Shakur trained at Cambridge, Oxford and Edinburgh medical schools. He was a Churchill Fellow at Harvard and Mayo medical schools. He is also a trainnee representative for the the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board (PMETB) committee. He is the editor of: A career in medicine: Do you have what it takes?
