The boards are tight and flat; corners worn; pale white rear is grubby. "The Clevedon Community Co-operative Bookshop Bindery Team" have cleaned the covers, coloured the spine a little and made small hinge repair. Lightly foxed end papers. The text block is tightly bound and flat; cut edges marked and slightly tanned; the pages have some light foxing and marks mainly on fore edges. With black and white, orange and white and red and white illustrations and glossy colour frontispiece. One of the pages of black and white illustrations has been coloured in.
