Jules Verne (1828-1905) was a French author whose books are widely regarded as the pioneers of science fiction. He wrote some of the most beloved stories of all time, including Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Around the World in Eighty Days, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. He was one of the first authors to write stories that combined scientific ideas and imagination, and his books are full of exciting adventures and thrilling plot twists. Verne was a great admirer of science and technology, and his works often predicted technological advances that later became reality. He was also a passionate traveler, having explored many countries and cultures around the world. Verne has become a major influence in the world of science fiction and fantasy, and his works are still popular among readers of all ages. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest authors of all time.
