'Nearly the Happy Hour' is a first collection from a poet whose work is well known in poetry journals in both in the UK and USA. These evocative, finely wrought poems draw on a lifetime of practising and loving the art of verse. Whether teasing or troubling her reader, D A Prince's instinct for the music of natural speech underpins every line.
