Synopsis

Rabbits wreak havoc! Author Simon Puttock and illustrator Judith Drews have created a uniquely humorous tale with a twist?and some funny bunnies that kids can’t help but love.
When Mr. Mac meets some rabbits in need of a home, he thinks he’s found the solution to his loneliness. So he invites them to stay?but, boy, are they trouble! These boisterous bunnies chew with their mouths open, pick their noses, and never take baths. Still, when they cause mayhem in the neighborhood?pulling a cat’s tail and making fun of Lucy Lapin’s brand new hat?Mr. Mac doesn’t mind too much. It’s only when the naughty creatures start to turn his house topsy-turvy that he finally decides to teach them some manners.
Mr. Mac’s in for a big surprise?and young readers are in for a treat.

Review

Given the growing number of tedious stories devoted to lecturing children on being 'good', this is a wonderful exception. (Nursery World )

Another joyfully good book from Simon Puttock - this time illustrated in very funky style by Judith Drews. We've had huge fun at our house reading about Mr Mac's appallingly behaved leporine friends and how he cleans up their act. (I-On Glasgow )
