The large Class A vessels will be a magnificent site in the Wellington and Sand Half Tide Docks. The other ships will be berthed in the Albert, Canning and Canning Half Tide Docks.Over 800,000 people are expected to come into the city from all over the country to witness this magnificent display of sail and the official Tall Ships programme will be a must-have item on the day to guide tourists and Merseysiders alike around the waterfront.The fleet is crewed by 3,000 sail trainees and a spectacular Parade of Sail will take place on 21 July, marking the start of the challengging first race to Sweden.
