About the Author

Hazel Reed is a British Horse Society Assistant Instructor who is currently working towards her Stage IV Examination. Hazel started at 9 years old riding ponies, became obsessed very quickly and went on to training in various establishments around the country. She competed at Cross-country events, dressage and show jumping, though dressage is now her love. She worked in different yards such as a Racing Yard and an agricultural college. She currently is riding her amazing dressage horse Eeyore II and had the honour of riding in front of the Queen in May 2002 as part of the Golden Jubilee Celebration. As well as horses she loves writing and is working on several books including horse textbooks.
