Review

I thought [Applied Knowledge Test for the New MRCGP] very useful. The balance of topics was good, and weighted to areas with new guidelines or where previous candidates had had difficulties. The notes on preparation are sensible and practical. Questions are clearly worded and not ambiguous; obviously I can't comment on how similar they are to exam questions in terms of difficulty. Good quality photos; I had no difficulty seeing the clinical signs they showed (which has been a criticism for some other resources.) The brief explanations given with the answers were useful and referenced to NICE guidelines where they exist... --GPVTS Programme Director in Oxfordshire
