Synopsis
Robert Williamson (1885-1954) was by all accounts a master of many crafts and an early entrepreneur. Fair Isle knitting was one of his many interests and he collected patterns and printed them in standard exercise books using stencils. This book is a reproduction of the stencil printed patterns, probably from the 1930s, with these patterns being organised into families so as to be immediately accessible to the knitter.
