The glossy dust jacket is in Good+ condition, with some very light general wear, a 1/2-inch closed tear at the upper right corner of the rear panel, and a couple of scuffs to the upper right part of the front cover. The scuffs are the kind that are mostly only visible when viewed at an angle to a light. A loving history of and tribute to the Ford GT40, originally designed specifically to win the LeMans 24-hour endurance race, a feat that it accomplished in four consecutive years from 1966 through 1969. Profusely illustrated with contemporary photos (B&W and color) showing the cars, the races and the drivers, as well as a 47 page appendix featuring exploded parts diagrams of all key components.
