R L Warrender is a senior lecturer at the University of Sunderland where he teaches Computer Systems, Networking and Database Systems Development. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering/Electronics as well as an MSc in Computer Based Information Systems. He is a programme leader for one of the University's independent learning programmes (BA Business IT) as well as being a member of the University Databases Research SubGroup where he researches interoperable data structures over distributed networks.
