The series covers the key Microsoft Office 2000 components of Access, Excel and Word, and for each of these applications there is an introductory and an advanced book. This introductory book does not assume any previous knowledge of Access 2000, and introduces concepts and functions at a measured pace, allowing the beginner to become familiar with the main features of the software one by one.
The approach of the book is that the user will be able to learn by doing. Each topic includes exercises to complete which illustrate the theory and help to reinforce the learning.

About the Author
Sue Coles lectures at the Department of Business and Management Studies, Crewe and Alsager Faculty, Manchester Metropolitan University. Jenny Rowley is Professor at the School of Management and Social Sciences, Edge Hill College of Higher Education. Together they have written many books on software applications including Access, Word and PowerPoint.
