Making Friends
Hello. I am your new friend. What is your name? If you give me a short name, I will soon learn when you are calling me. When I come to live with you, I will be very small and I can be easily hurt. Please do not treat me like a toy. If I am tired, pop me into my house, where I will go to sleep for a while. I will soon wake up again and be ready to play more games with you. I try very hard to keep my fur clean and tidy. You can help me by brushing my coat with my very own brush. I like being stroked, but I can get a bit worried about being picked up. Please will you feed me every day and make sure I have lots of clean water to drink. I would like a nice big house of my own to live in. I will be lonely living alone, so I would really like to have a guinea pig or another rabbit as a friend to live with me. A safe place to play in the garden will give me plenty of room to run around. I know that soon we will be good friends.
