About the Author
Rupert Steiner has been a journalist at The Sunday Times since 1993. He started writing the My First Break column, which appears weekly in the Business Section, two years ago, and has met and interviewed more than 100 leading entrepreneurs around the world. He also edits Prufrock, The Sunday Times' diary. He says his 'first break' into journalism came while at school when he started selling stories about his schoolmates to the tabloids. On one occasion instead of accepting cash he managed to negotiate work experience which lead to a job. He lives in West London and has a degree in agricultural economics from London University. My First Break: How Entrepreneurs Get Started is his first book.
